Paul Barile is almost unparalleled in the charm department and has one of the most enticing voices I have had the pleasure of hearing. He has a way of rousing people to action. And I, for one, would attribute his constant harassment as one of the reasons I even picked up a pen again.
Paul's writing deserves to be read if for no other reason than that it paints a portrait of Berwyn and, of family, that few are willing to expose.
Paul Barile is one of those artists who can do it all; he writes, acts, directs and manages his own theatre company.
He leads by example and lives by the motto, “I live eat, drink and breathe quality theatre.”
In Chicago, he is a powerful force as one the next generation of Chicago writers. He writes from the heart and his heart is big.
In the coming years we shall see major works coming from the pen of Paul Barile.
Paul’s energy is infectious. His smile can motivate even the most difficult actor.
He has worked for me on several occasions; I found him to be charming, giving, smart, and creative as an actor/performer.

I met Paul when he came to review Pop Psychology, a show that claims to be the world's first relationship seminar musical. He really liked the show and the music, but better than that, he wrote about it with the kind of infectious enthusiasm that I seldom see from someone with his experience. He made the show sound so fun, I wanted to see it myself! Which I couldn't, because I was in it.
Paul has been enormously supportive over the years with our Edgewater-based music business, Xauen Music. He has provided invaluable publicity for us by writing columns in the News-Star. By bringing our message to the general public, Paul has helped us in our mission of bringing the beauty of Arab culture to the residents of Chicago. People who might not otherwise hear of our work have been introduced to it via Paul's thorough and interesting columns.
Paul has a way of bringing creative ideas to life.
This is a man who is passionate about what he does.
Paul is dedicated to his work. Committed to sharing the arts with the community. Committed to showing the community the creative talent, both writers and actors that brighten and entertain our lives.
